CAPACITIVE TOUCH SCREENS

The design principle of the projected capacitive touch screen is a glass material or a transparent conductive material on the film (e.g., ITO), or diamond-shaped patterns printed in the particular arrangement shown are representative of separate electrodes of the x- and y-axes. When no contact is made with any conductive object, there will be a capacitive coupling between the respective fixed electrodes, with the controller being responsible, the x-axis driving each channel, to each of the y-axis scan signals of the channel, and recording it to the capacitance value of IC in. Therefore, when the screen is touched, the conductive fingers generate a capacitance effect at the intersection of the XY axes, at which point the controller scans to change the capacitance value of the touch screen and then calculates the coordinate position of the touch point of the finger. The COF process will gradually add services in the future.
